The Nefarious Les Paul is part of a collaboration between Nefarious Guitars and Black Volt Amplification.

These extreme and unique instruments are completely built in house by Black Volt.  Once the basic guitar is built, The Nefarious scientists take the guitar to their laboratory and work their magic applying high voltage designs into the guitars. During this discharge process, the powerful electric charge leaves (up to) 100s of branching fractals creating a one-of-a-kind pattern on each guitar. They are then finished and assembled by Black Volt.  

The Nefarious technique does not cause any change to the resonance or tonality of the guitar and guarantees that the "Nefarious Effect" produced by this unique process results in a finish that is truly one-of-a-kind and will not be replicated—this is our ironclad promise. Being the first to market is essential, and we acknowledge that this process can be extremely dangerous.
